Ride through the herd
Our most popular short ride: get a taste of the Cowboy life with Buckaroo.
This 2-hour tour will give you a taste of what ranchers need to do every day. You will warm up riding on our maintained trails in the bush. Get to know your guide and ride.
Then, together with one of our guides, you will be checking in on a cattle herd that is (most of the season) grazing on our fields. This is the perfect time to ask all those questions that you may have about the more traditional way of raising beef cattle.
Please note that there is no guarantee to see the cattle herd. Riding close to/through the herd will always be a decision our guide makes on a day-to-day base. This is not a cattle drive – there is no cow chasing or doctoring involved.
Rates
This ride is $87 (plus GST) per rider. Minimum 2 riders (additional charge for “solo riders”).
