Book a winter getaway on the Ranch for a reduced low season rate! Even though there is no horseback riding during winter, you have lots to do in the area if you are an outdoor enthusiast. You can also just enjoy a relaxing time on a working cattle ranch with peaceful views over our snowy farm scenery. Our cabins are a perfect home base for you – centrally located between Asessippi Provincial Park and Wasagaming. A 15 min drive brings you to the closest entrance of Riding Mountain National Park at Deep Lake.

The 9 Finger Ranch is a member of Hostelling International – Canada. All our accommodations meet the quality standards established by HI-Canada for the comfort and safety of our guests. The ranch is close to Riding Mountain National Park and only a 15 minutes drive from the most western entrance to Riding Mountain National Park. Perfect for small or large groups! Our two cabins on the property can each sleep 10 people comfortably. You can rent one bed, a room or the whole cabin. Our cabins are located on the ranch close to the main house.

Amenities available

Both cabins have one private room (1 bunk bed) and one dorm (4 bunk beds). They also have a shower room, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a common room. Bedding is supplied.

We kindly ask you to really use the fully-equipped kitchen in your cabin – including the cutlery – and to reduce single use plastic. We are trying to run our farm as natural as possible and hope you are joining in!
